So you want to learn how to edit a Ragnarok GRF. Here are some things you should know!

Programs -
GRF Editor: ...

The first thing you should do is copy and backup your data.grf. [Located in your Ragnarok folder]
If you can’t find that, sit in town and look pretty.

The‌ ‌second‌ ‌thing‌ ‌is‌ ‌that‌ ‌you‌ ‌should‌ ‌download‌ ‌the‌ ‌GRF‌ ‌editor,‌ ‌and‌ ‌whatever‌ ‌GRFs‌ ‌you‌ ‌want‌ ‌to‌ ‌edit‌ ‌into‌ ‌your‌ ‌data.grf.‌ ‌

From‌ ‌here‌ ‌you‌ ‌will‌ ‌be‌ ‌greeted‌ ‌with‌ ‌a‌ ‌fresh‌ ‌[New.grf]‌ ‌and‌ ‌a‌ ‌clean‌ ‌empty‌ ‌slate‌ ‌to‌ ‌work‌ ‌with.‌ ‌You‌ ‌will‌ ‌be‌ ‌using‌ ‌this‌ ‌.grf‌ ‌to‌ ‌merge‌ ‌your‌ ‌desired‌ ‌additional‌ ‌.grf‌ ‌files‌ ‌together‌ ‌so‌ ‌it‌ ‌will‌ ‌be‌ ‌easier‌ ‌to‌ ‌compile‌ ‌with‌ ‌your‌ ‌[Data.grf]‌ ‌

Save‌ ‌your‌ ‌brand‌ ‌new.grf‌ ‌as‌ ‌[custom.grf]‌ ‌or‌ ‌another‌ ‌desired‌ ‌file‌ ‌name.‌ ‌

To‌ ‌compile‌ ‌your‌ ‌custom.grf‌ ‌which‌ ‌you‌ ‌can‌ ‌use‌ ‌for‌ ‌later,‌ ‌use‌ ‌the‌ ‌key‌ ‌binding‌ ‌[Ctrl+M]‌ ‌on‌ ‌your‌ new.grf.‌

With‌ ‌each‌ ‌desired‌ ‌.grf‌ ‌file‌ ‌merge‌ ‌it‌ ‌with‌ ‌your‌ ‌custom.grf.‌ ‌[THIS‌ ‌PERMANENTLY‌ ‌CHANGES‌ ‌YOUR‌ CUSTOM.GRF‌ ‌FILE]‌

After‌ ‌all‌ ‌desired‌ ‌.grf‌ ‌files‌ ‌are‌ ‌input‌ ‌into‌ ‌your‌ ‌custom.grf‌ ‌you‌ ‌should‌ ‌have‌ ‌something‌ ‌that‌ ‌looks‌ ‌like‌ ‌this(said‌ ‌every‌ ‌other‌ ‌.grf‌ ‌file‌ ‌ever)‌ ‌

Now‌ ‌you‌ ‌want‌ ‌to‌ ‌re-save‌ ‌your‌ ‌custom.grf‌ ‌and‌ ‌[open]‌ ‌one‌ ‌of‌ ‌your‌ ‌[data.grf]‌ ‌files‌ ‌ensuring‌ ‌that‌ ‌you‌ ‌keep‌ ‌one‌ ‌for‌ ‌backup.‌ ‌

After‌ ‌this‌ ‌is‌ ‌done,‌ ‌use‌ ‌[GRF‌ ‌Editor]‌ ‌to‌ ‌open‌ ‌one‌ ‌of‌ ‌your‌ ‌[data.grf]‌ ‌files‌ ‌and‌ ‌merge‌ ‌your‌ ‌custom.grf‌ ‌with‌ ‌it.‌

Make‌ ‌sure‌ ‌that‌ ‌your‌ ‌data.grf‌ ‌file‌ ‌is‌ ‌within‌ ‌your‌ ‌Ragnarok‌ ‌Restart‌ ‌folder‌ ‌and‌ ‌open‌ ‌Ragnarok.‌ ‌If‌ ‌you’re‌ ‌not‌ ‌a‌ ‌complete‌ ‌noob‌ ‌and‌ ‌can‌ ‌understand‌ ‌pictures‌ ‌you‌ ‌should‌ ‌no‌ ‌problems.‌ ‌If‌ ‌you‌ ‌have‌ ‌problems‌ ‌delete‌ ‌your‌ ‌data.grf‌ ‌and‌ ‌use‌ ‌your‌ ‌backup.‌ ‌Sit‌ ‌in‌ ‌town‌ ‌and‌ ‌look‌ ‌pretty.‌ ‌
